I cant believe I have let 5 months pass since my last posting. So much has happened! A great summer has passed...the kids have done the trip-of-a-lifetime to Disney, camped our faces off, lost another 10lbs, dumped a man, gained a man, acquired some new lodgers (3 to be precise!), now running 10km and still ticking along, just waiting for Christmas!
Ok that was in a nutshell. To break it down would take me months - Hey! Maybe thats why I should have posted a bit more regularly!
The running and weight loss go hand in hand, obviously. I have increased my distance, which is giving me a greater energy level. Its like a domino effect...run further, eat better, sleep better, think better....Its all positive.
The running is also helpful for the stress levels right now, which brings me to the comment about "acquiring 3 new lodgers". Through a series of events, I now have my Mum, Dad and my brothers dog living in my tiny abode, alongside myself, the two kids and my beloved quadruped.
How did this occur?
The following chain of events...
Mum and Dad put house up for sale.
Brother gets job in Newfoundland and moves out of folks home.
Brother leaves his old dog behind for Mum and Dad to care for.
Mum and Dad sell house.
Mum and Dad start to pack up house to downsize to apartment.
Mum falls down stairs , severs tendons in knee, and 8 weeks later, can still not climb so much as a single stair.
Mum and Dad dont find apartment, house closes , so they come to my house.
Mum still cant climb stairs so I now have a bedroom in my living room
